Preparing a responsive and responsible bid for a Government contract is always a gamble. Most bidders put forth significant time and resources in an effort to be the lowest bidder and still obtain a reasonable profit margin. Unfortunately, after spending all that time and effort reviewing every detail of the specification, identifying material sources, setting up potential subcontractors, and reviewing your labor and equipment resources, you miss a simple form or fail to check a box and the Government throws out your bid. Let us review your bid submittals to ensure they are compliant with all of the contract requirements. Let us check your math on the bid form to ensure that written amount and the numeric value match and that the quantity times the unit price actually equals the extended price. Finally, that the total of all line items matches your total bid. This is one of the most common errors causing a bid to be rejected.
